I got deactivated for walking on doordash. Lol. After about two weeks. I was homeless and desperate.

I waiver between 7-14% AR denying almost every offer. I swear DD knows UberEats is taking up most of my time because they sent me $13 for 3.7 mile order yesterday.

DoorDash is awful… currently my 2nd least used app… it’s basically beer money when compared to my other apps.

The end to cherry picking means some people wont get a timely order.

My AR seems to hover around 25% give or take. I’m not taking McDonald’s to bad areas all day to get that number up. I am sure that someone else will though.

I miss being a bottom dasher… guess we are brown dashers now.

I took bad orders to get to top dasher then 2 months later they went to this tier system in my area this week and I keep dropping because of my delivery’s that keep falling off each day it stinks when I made it to top dasher it was great Order after order would come in

3:28 when it’s says leave at door and the customer is outside I take a picture with them holding the food and then send it to Uber so just in case they lie and say they never received their order they will no long be able to order food again

More often then not I am seeing (and totally agree with) Drivers not playing this game with DD. We're contractors, so it doesn't make any sense to devalue our worth by accepting offers that don't fit our needs so they can make their big money.

im in cleveland ohio im platinum teir and since I've been door dashing and made it to top dasher or now platinum I'm averaging $25/hr being a top dasher/or platinum has helped ALOT with making $$. being able to dash whenever you want vs when everyone else has to schedule. think of it as you only have to do 3 deliveries a day and 1 day of 4-5 deliveries to get top dasher/platinum. also I dash in a business district full of restaurants and office bldgs so that helps also. plus remember the demographics of where u dash. dash in nice areas if possible hood dashing gets hood wages. ppl don't tip in the hood plus less headaches all around w safety and non delivery scams.. the key is dashing anytime!!

If Cherry picking offers ends without some ideal base profits for the drivers; then so will the company because all the drivers will just stop driving. No one is going to do an order for $2.50 that's 18 miles away willingly. Personally I don't accept an offer lower than 8 dollars anymore.

Justeat have been doing this for over the past year in Scotland. The acceptance rate drops below 10% and they stop sending you orders unless it’s really busy. It has absolutely ruined the job I’m ready for quitting it’s that bad. They have that many drivers they don’t care anymore 🤦‍♂️

My AR is 7 %! Let’s call it the Magenta tier for us cherry pickers 😂. I literally am not driving 9 miles for 2$ or going to a really bad neighborhood for any amount of money. I’m with you!

Unfortunately, the only way to get consistent orders now are with a 71% + acceptance rate. Sure, you'll still get offers with a low rate but you'll be looking at $10 or less per hour.

Keep cherry picking. Should still rank high due to number of deliveries per day, week, month, quarter, etc.

The real irony is when u take all the orders u will get 1 or 2 bad orders! I just don’t understand sitting in ur car waiting for orders! U really need to change ur strategy

Hi Sara. I also will probably not know if the orders are better if I make to the Tiers. I am at 14% right now. I would have to take so many bad orders to get there. I am lucky I multi app also with Grub Hub and Uber Eats and Spark.

I will never take no tip orders because unlike some customers say that they will tip after the fact, I have never had an added tip from those orders!!! I only take orders that make sense to me!!

I’ve been doing earn by time and the reason why I start doing it is because people aren’t tipping anyway so I might as well get paid for my time. Today I was making $22 an hour with earn time and the tips. it doesn’t always work out that way, but with tipping being so crappy lately it makes sense to me to at least get paid for my time.

Cast Iron? Tinfoil? Whatever my tier is, I will not submit to taking bad offers. This is just one more example of them trying to pay us like contractors while controlling us like employees. The State of Massachusetts is suing these apps to reclassify them as employers specifically because of these coercion schemes. It's too bad that is necessary but it's the only way it will ever change. Taking away advance scheduling for non crap order takers may have been their final overreach as that is against the definition of contractors in my state.

I started at the silver tier and I am still at silver I'm at 60% right now. I am still being sent good orders a good amount of time but I am no longer getting catering orders though but I also just started a job and almost never doing lunch shifts anymore so....most catering orders are during lunch. So for me....even the silver tier isnt bad I was expecting it to be a huge difference then getting top dasher and besides having to schedule all the time its no difference as far as the type of orders I am getting
